Summit Credit Union: Project Teen Money

History

Applicants will first be asked to apply with a 30-60 second video on why they want to apply for the scholarship. 6 students total will be chosen from the applicants (2 from East, 2 from Memorial, and 2 from La Follette High School). Participants in Project Teen Money will become peer ambassadors of Summit Credit Union and will submit 3 videos each teaching their peers about personal finance. 

Kohl Student Excellence Scholarship

History

The purpose of the Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship program is to recognize student leadership, citizenship, school and community involvement, and academic achievement.  It is the goal of the Herb Kohl Educational Foundation to encourage Wisconsin youth to pursue post-secondary education in a public or nonpublic university, college, or vocational/technical college. 

WSCA High School Scholarship

History

Together with the WSCA, Xello and Method Test Prep are extremely excited to be able to continue engaging and inspiring Wisconsin students to achieve their fullest potential. Four $1,000 scholarships are available for Wisconsin seniors. Applicants are asked to reflect on their experiences with school counselors and how counselors have helped prepare them for their post secondary path. 

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship

History

Write a 500 - 1000 word essay on this topic: Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.

Award

  • $1,000

Eligibility

  • The A&F Scholarships are available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any accredited post secondary institution

Annual CGTrader Scholarship

History

Every year CGTrader challenges students to dig into the field of technology by writing an essay on how innovative technologies are transforming our lives.

Award

  • 1st place - $2,000
  • 2nd & 3rd place - $500

Eligibility

  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • High school senior, undergraduate or graduate student
  • Enrolled full-time in an academic institution

Aspiring Animation Professional Scholarship

History

Intended for high schools seniors who plan to pursue a career in animation and/or a design related field. 

Award

  • $1,000

Eligibility

  • The scholarship is limited to high school seniors in the US pursuing an animation related degree program at an accredited post-secondary school or college. 
  • Applicant must demonstrate record of academic success
  • Must have a passion for animation and/or a design related field
